$24,000 For Taking Photos of Quebec: Worth a Go

Up to $24,000 in prizes!

For the Quebec en photos competition which is on until April 16th, image hunters are invited to submit their best pictures representing Quebec winter to the website www.quebecenphotos.ca.

Prizes of a total value of $24,000 will be offered to the photographers of which the work is chosen. Among these prizes, there’s a visit at the Ice Hotel, a weekend Vie de Château at the Château Joliette, a weekend in New York, credit for trips, complete camera kits, gift-cards, a VIP weekend at the Quebec Carnival, and much more.

This competition is provincial but it preserves local flavours since it is taking place in 13 regions: Mauricie, Centre-du-Quebec (Drummondville), Lanaudière (Repentigny and Joliette), Bois-Francs and l’Érable, Chaudi;ere-Appalaches, Montreal, Laval, Quebec, Saguenay, Lac Saint-Jean, Montérégie (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu), and Bas-Saint-Laurent (Rimouski).

Winners will be selected in each participating region. Amateurs and professionals are invited to submit their nicest winter scenes. Also, all photography-enthusiasts are invited to participate by voting for their favourite pictures on the website. The voting session will be open from March 21 to April 16.
