54th Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament a Roaring Success

Pee-wee-hockey_quebec_logoHistorical, incredible, and totally unexpected! These are the three words that sum up the 54th Quebec pee–wee tournament.

The President had many reasons to celebrate. It was the first time that two teams from Quebec were in the AA-Elite and this was possible due to hard work and collaboration with Hockey Quebec and the teams’ successes. Better than that, six Quebec teams qualified for the last day of the tournament including the Nordiques and the Citadelles, which were in the finals for the World Cup.

Talking about the World Cup Finals; a fight between the petits Remparts and the Citadelles, the president indicated that hockey was played on ice.

No one could’ve foreseen this historical outcome. Everything worked well and the comments received from volunteers and parents were all positive.

The 55th Quebec pee-wee tournament will last 12 days rather than 11. The arrival of many Quebec regional teams in the AA-Elite category in 2014 could force the president to reorganize the divisions.
