Advanced Poll Participation at 15.57%

News for the forthcoming Quebec provincial elections:

The participation rate for the advanced polls has reached 15.57%, according to an announcement on Tuesday by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).

This is a record for Quebec. In total, 919,120 voters have already cast their vote in advance of the election on September 4th. The previous record for the two days of advance voting was 11%.

For Sunday only, the participation rate was 8.48%, more than 500,000 participants. The advance polls is now available for everyone and has almost tripled since 2003 in Quebec.

In the Quebec region, the numbers are phenomenal everywhere. Voters in the Louis-Hébert sector went to the polls at a rate of 26.28%.

The participation rate is 19.74% in Taschereau, 21.99% in Jean-Talon, 19.56% in Jean-Lesage, and 21.16% in Levis.

This is definitely a wakeup call for the rest of the population to make their choice and to use their power.

September 4th. Game on.
