Art and Nature in the Middle Ages

Art and Nature in the Middle Ages from October 4, 2012 to January 6, 2013

This first collaboration between the museum of Cluny (Paris) and the Musée National des Beaux Arts de Québec (MNBAQ) is a unique opportunity to show the Quebec public some major and exceptional works from the Musée National du Moyen Âge de France.

This trip back in time will make people discover limestone structures, pieces of ivory and metalwork, enamels, stained glass, and tapestries.

It will make it easier to understand the vision that artists had at the time, through more than 500 years of artistic production in Western Europe between the tenth and the fifteenth century.
