Bonhomme’s Palace Gets Russian Theme

Bonhomme_Carnaval_QuebecBonhomme Carnaval’s palace is under construction on the Plains of Abraham.

This year, the architecture is inspired by Russia, host country of the event’s 59th edition.  The central tower is a replica of a cathedral in St. Petersburg.

The interior of the palace will be decorated by a gigantic 36 feet painting with a Russian theme.

There will also be a photo exhibition about Putin’s country.

The site must be complete for the beginning of the Carnival which is held from February 1 to 17.
