Call Me Maybe: See you on the Plains

Carly-Rae-JepsenThe Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) have almost completed the 2013 program. The program director, Louis Bellavance has announced new material for the outdoor shows. Stevie Wonder will be on the Plains July 14th. The American star will close the eleven day event in the old capital.

It is the first Stevie Wonder show in Quebec and it took a lot of effort and determination from the FEQ to get the contract signed. Wonder is someone who chooses his shows and is in perfect control of his career. He has an enormous team around him and it was hard to get him. Zaz is going to play July 13th on the Hydro-Quebec stage, and will precede the author, composer, interpret, and American producer.

The second complete night is July 12th at the Francophonie Park. The  popular singer Carly Rae Jepsen known for her hit “Call me Maybe” will be in Quebec. the young singer shot to fame in Canadian Idol in 2013.

July 4th, Catherine Major will sing for the festival premiere before the show “ Quand le Québec chante”. July 13th, the Canadian group, Danko Jones will be on the Bell stage before the Foreigner and Def Leppard.
