Community Compost Sites Reconsidered

Community Compost Sites Reconsidered

Quebec – After removing the financial budget in December for the management of nine community compost sites, Quebec City has reconsidered.

It will continue to work with Craque-Bitume (the composting organization) and the Saint-Jean-Baptiste committee for the hundreds of citizens who participated in this program.

The agreement between Quebec City and Craque-Bitume is expecting $23,000 for the organization to manage eight sites and offer training to encourage this environmental practice.

Same thing for the Saint-Jean-Baptiste committee who will have $2,500 for the same services on the Richelieu Park site.
