Cool Taxi Coupons to Fight Drunk & Sleepy Driving

Cool Taxi Coupons to Fight Drunk & Sleepy Driving

In the objective to raise awarness about drunk and tired driving, $10,000 worth of Cool Taxi prepaid coupons were distributed to clients in Montreal and Montérégie bars, Friday night.

Claudia Di Lorio, who was a victim of a severe car accident with her two friends, Justine and Eveline, in July 2010, was with the Couche-Tard employee group which organized the event.

It is a way for her to make people her age understand that they must be careful and that a taxi is sometimes a better solution to get back home.

During the night, the group visited the Commission des Liquers, Rock’N’Roll, and Christie’s de Boucherville bars. It then went to Jack Astor’s of Greenfield Park bar, to end the tour at the Café Campus on Prince-Arthur in Montreal.

All year round, tickets can be bought and used. It is a simple and cheap way to ensure the security of the kids or friends.

Instead of giving money to your kids without knowing what will happen to it during the night, they are protected when  giving them Cool Taxi coupons.

They are offered in $5 and $10 in all Couche-Tards, Familiprix, and Banque Nationale in the province.

In 2012, approximately $401,000 worth of coupons was sold comparatively to $310,000 last year.
