LA GRANDE FÊTE DE LA CÔTE-DE-BEAUPRÉ – 5th ÉDITION

It is under the theme “Rythmes et Papilles” that Côte-de-Beaupré will hold its Fête (5th edition) between September 14th and 16th this year.

What’s New: Activities will focus on Sanctuary Street, on Royale Avenue as well as in the enchanting Basilica site.

Laurence Jalbert at the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica–Friday September 14th at 8pm
It is in this unique place that Laurence Jalbert will present her greatest hits revisited with updated versions, accompanied by the Vocals Arc-en-Sonsfor a few songs. Recognized for her talents as a storyteller, Laurence Jalbert promises a show where emotion, intensity, and humour will be present.

Beaupré Seignuery Wind Farms Tent
It is on the stage in the central tent that performances, animations, and culinary conferences will be presented. It will also be possible, this year, to discover wines and other drinks thanks to the new Zone Découverte that will be inside the central tent.

Promutuel Littoral Food Market
This year, exhibitors from the Côte-de-Beaupré, Greater Quebec, and across the province will come together to show their local products to the general public. On the Menu: tastings, meetings, and discoveries, a great exchange!

Banque Nationale Family Zone
Inflatable games, animation, arts and crafts, makeup and costumed characters will delight children in the family zone specially designed to please everyone!
Fireworks – Saturday 15 September at 9 pm (pushed back to the next day in case of unfavourable weather)
Large colourful fireworks mark this festive weekend!

Fireworks cruise and gourmet cocktail Saturday 15 September at 6 pm (pushed back to the next day in case of unfavourable weather)
New this year, a cruise aboard the L’Anse Coudrier with a gourmet cocktail presented in collaboration with various  Côte-de-Beaupré cooks. The menu will feature regional products and will allow people to discover several producers in the region. The cruise participants can attend La Grande Fête fireworks from the St. Lawrence River. Places are limited to one hundred (100) people, so hurry!

G.O. Shredding – Saturday, September 15th, 10 am to 4 pm
In La Grande fête activities, and in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec, the MRC of La Côte-de-Beaupré invites you to the Great Operation shredding site. This activity aims to prevent fraud and theft of personal information, while allowing the recycling of paper. Recyclage Vanier will be on hand to pick up your documents. A Sûreté du Québec officer will also be present to disclose some tips on preventing identity theft. Empty your files and come meet them!

Heritage Renovation Help Service (fr. SARP)
During the festivities, meet your SARP manager, Ms. Melissa Ennis. She will be on site to answer your questions so you know about this service or give you some quick tips for your exterior renovations. Bring your photos, your plans, your inspirations…

Activities in Ni Vu Ni Cornu Workshop & Gallery
Ni Vu Ni Cornu workshop & gallery invites the public to come and get creative, Saturday, September 15th, on a sidewalk square on Avenue Royale. Many professional artists, represented by Ni Vu Ni Cornu, will be there, giving you the chance to see live work and learn a few tricks! Animations with machines from General Patente are also planned.

NOTICE – REDUCED CIRCULATION AND STREETS CLOSING
As part of the event, Sanctuaire Street will be closed to traffic from September 10th to 17th, from the Auberge de la Basilica up to the intersection of Royale Avenue. September 15th and 16th, Royale Avenue will be closed in the shopping sector during the operating hours of La Grande fête. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to residents.
