Défi Entreprises Running Through Rain

Défi Entreprises Running Through Rain

Passing on the pleasure of physical activity is sometimes done in the workplace. The Défi Entreprises is the living proof. More than 4,000 workers from 120 businesses ran through the rain on the Plains of Abraham.

For the first time in three years, the Défi Entreprises happened in the rain the other weekend. That didn’t stop thousands of workers completing the challenge which is to walk or run a 5 to 10 kilometre distance on the Plains of Abraham.

It was good to see so many people even with the heavy rain. Many people trained for several months. It was really important for them and they were ready to run in any weather.

In last three years, the event has grown from 400 to over 4,000 participants.

This means there is an interest from companies to promote physical activity amongst their employees.

This allows a better quality of life and it is good for a company to have healthy and happy employees.

Organisers even had to refuse some participants because they didn’t want to grow too fast. They want to take their time and improve the quality of the event for the ones who are present.

Although they believe they will have to increase the number of participants for the next edition.
