Demon Road founder locked-up

Prison-cell
Quebec City (Quebec) Monday August 4, 2014 – The assumed leader or founder of the radical motorcycle club, Demon Road, which we had reported on in a previous article was arrested Friday at his home in Limoilou.

Tommy Bar-Longuépée was handcuffed and taken into custody after a visit by police to his residence and was charged with dangerous driving. He appeared before a judge by video-conference to receive his charges. He had posted videos on the club’s Facebook page of motorcycles travelling at 299km/hr, and doing other unlawful stunts on easily recognizable roads throughout the area. He had also outrun some police vehicles after a chase ensued earlier in the month of July.

At the same time he was arrested police confiscated his computers, all his video cameras and other articles which police feel may be pertinent to his charges. They also found significant amounts of cocaine, and cannabis in his possession causing other charges to be laid when he will appear in court on August 6. M.

Bar-Longuépée is known to police and has been arrested before for possession, trafficking and selling of different drugs.

The accused has a judiciary record going back as far as 2005, and has a definite arrogant attitude towards police and anyone in authority. Two motorcycles were removed at the same time as the arrest and on the front wheel of one of the bikes it is written, ¨I don’t stop for cops¨. He even sent a Facebook message directly from the Orsainville prison to all his ¨confreres¨ letting them and his wife know he’ll be back and to wait for him.
