Finding grace in the darkness – a testimony from Zimbabwe

May. 11 – Wed. 6:00 p.m “ Finding grace in the darkness: a testimony from Zimbabwe.”  Presentation given by Rev. Chris Hingley. at Bishopthorpe (adj. to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity).

Dr. Hingley is an Anglican Priest, educator, and founder of the Petra Schools in Zimbabwe. 

His talk will focus on the difficult choices that students and familiies have to make in order to receive an education. In a country where hope is scarce his schools provide a future for the young and disadvantaged.  A soup & bread supper will be served.
