First Snow Frenzy – Quebec City 2010

First Snow Frenzy – Quebec City 2010

by Elizabeth Davies

This weekend’s first snow brought back the recreational building of the snowman in Québec City!

The freshly fallen snow had the ideal consistency for creating our frosty friend!

Take a look at this creation in the Governor’s Park behind the iconic Château Frontenac as this monumental snowman overlooks the majestic Saint Lawrence River.

Examine this version of a frozen soldier standing guard in front of the Citadel on Cape Diamond!
Ah yes, the first joys of the first few centimeters of  snow are always so exciting and romantic in the capital. Such a wonderful winterland of snow covered roofs.
