Four Ships Open to the Public this Weekend

As of tomorrow, ships invited to participate in the 4th Rendez-vous naval de Québec will make their appearance on the Saint-Lawrence River. The very first ship, the Laplace will arrive Wednesday around 10AM. The Laplace is a French ship devoted to scientific research.

The United States’ USS Oak Hill, a landing ship, as well as the Canadian destroyer NCSM Athabaskan will follow on Thursday morning. They will be escorted to the harbour by the Canadian Coast Guard’s NGCC Caporal Kaeble V.C.

These four ships will be open to the publc from the 13th to the 15th between 11AM and 4PM.  Visits to the USS Oak Hill and NCSM Athabaskan will however end at 1PM on Sunday.
