This year Jeffery Hale will be giving free flu vaccines to the following members of the English-speaking community:

people 60 years and older;
adults over 18 who have certain chronic diseases (such as heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, major obesity, cancer, asthma or a weakened immune system);
pregnant women with such chronic diseases, regardless of their stage of pregnancy;
pregnant women in good health in their 13th week or more;

Babies aged six to 23 months;
anyone who comes into regular contact with the above groups of people or with children under two years of age.

Vaccinations will take place:
at the Valcartier Community Center on Tuesday, November 5th, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM (except for babies);
and at Jeffery Hale Hospital’s outpatient clinic from Monday, November 4th to Friday, November 8th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You only need to make an appointment if you are allergic to eggs.
Everyone else can just walk in.

If you are allergic to eggs, please call Jeffery Hale to make an appointment weekdays at 418 684-5333.

Please wear a short sleeved shirt and bring a valid Quebec health insurance card to get your flu shot free of charge.
If you do not have a health card, some local pharmacies may be offering the flu vaccine at a cost.

There will be other flu vaccine clinics in the Quebec City region.
