Free Telephone Support Network for Canadians in Remote Regions

Care-ring Voice is a free, bilingual and confidential program that connects caregivers and families to information and support through the use of tele-learning. Participants can register on-line for a wide variety of informative teleconferences offered in English by specialists on a variety of subjects.

Tele-sessions provide participants with information and support via the telephone. All participants are on the phone at the same time in a teleconference. A moderator is also present on the phone to  guide the presentation, discussion or question and answer periods. The upcoming conference schedule is now available on-line. Here’ s a sampling of topics being discussed:

  • A series on Aging without Fear,
  • Truths and Myths About Bipolar Disorder
  • How to keep stress from managing your life
  • Depression: When it doesn’t go away by itself,
  • Why are you so angry?
  • Ovarian Cancer 101 – for women living with ovarian cancer
