Hockey was invented by a Nova Scotian

Dave_Parker_Nova_ScotiaDave Parker’s musical evening planned for the Morrin Centre in Quebec City on Saturday January 24th.

It’s basically a record release party for “Hockey Was Invented by a Nova Scotian”.

Here’s how the evening will shape up:

Period 1: This will consist entirely of original tunes that Dave Parker composed over his career. (Shuffle Demons, Jig’s Up!, The Groove Music Project etc.)

Period 2: Through the magic of song, you’ll skate though some passionate music about winter and hockey giving Dave a chance to explain why his hometown of Windsor, Nova Scotia considers itself to be the Birthplace of Hockey.

Period 3: No third period is scheduled however it is an early show so you are definitely urged you to carry on elsewhere!

The all-star lineup for the evening:

Yvan Fortin: guitar (a swift skating playmaker that makes everyone around him play better)
Dan Godro: organ (A chord cruncher that consistently defies gravity)
Harold Boivin: bass (A skilled defenceman that sticks to the basics)
Andy Stewart: drums (capable of backstopping any band to victory)

There is also the possibility of a few distinguished guests to help the evening along!

Hope to see you there!
