Holy Trinity Turkey Supper 2010

Holy Trinity Turkey Supper 2010

We had a wonderful 2010 Turkey Supper, thanks to a newly refurbished Carter Hall and round tables which allowed for seating more people and afforded much easier circulation around the room.  The feedback is that the dining atmosphere was pleasant and the proceeds higher than usual.

What made the Turkey Dinner truly successful, however, was the wholehearted participation of so many people!

Thanks to everyone who contributed so much talent in so many different ways: donating baked goods, handicrafts and prizes for the bake sale and raffle, helping with set-up, directing parking, selling tickets at the door, serving food, clearing tables, roasting turkeys, making apple crisps and cranberry sauce, printing dinner and raffle tickets, providing the poinsettias which adorned every table, and staying after dinner to help clean up! A special thanks to Wendy Deschamps and Anne Chapman who were in charge of the kitchen, purchasing supplies, organizing the volunteer cooks and prepping and serving the food during the evening.

And, most of all, thanks to the approximately 130 diners who came, ate dinner and shared in the fellowship of the evening.
