Irish Heritage Quebec and the Banana Empire

Bananas_in_QuebecMonday February 11 at 7:30 p.m. – Irish Heritage Quebec will hold an activity in McMahon Hall, 1145 de Salaberry in Quebec City. Michel Fragasso will give a conference titled The Banana Empire: the Barden-Moss Story in Quebec City.

The Barden-Moss Family operated a fruit store on St. Peter Street in Quebec City in the latter part of the 19th century.

Michel Fragasso, a descendant of this family, is a former president of the Société de généalogie de Québec and a founder of the Fédération québécoise des sociétés de généalogie.
