Free concerts on the Plains of Abraham

This week, the Bandstand presents…

FRIDAY JULY 29, 8:00 P.M.:

KENNETH SAULNIER
Cajun bluegrass and folk are much in evidence in this performance that swears to cast a spell on the public. The shoes of this Nova Scotian travelled far and wide through North America and Europe. But even after all those years, his passion for string instruments and music still burns. The promise of an evening journey through l’Acadie during a pause at the Bandstand.

SATURDAY JULY 30, 8:00 P.M.:
TANGO BORÉAL
Beam down at nightfall into the heart of a Brazilian café and attend a sometimes languorous, sometimes fiery artistic display by outstanding musicians and unrestrained dancers. An occasion for singer Carmen Genest to lend her voice, backed by a spellbinding accordion, a velvety bass and a nimble guitar which all add fuel to a warm, exciting evening.

SUNDAY JULY 31, 8:00 P.M.:
SABRINA FERLAND
A well-known operatic pop song artist, this soprano presents her new album “Belita”, inspired by Argentinean melodies and world-beat music. Her crystal voice was heard during the Cirque du Soleil presentations and the musical, “Les Misérables”. An accomplished singer, she delivers a striking and grandiose performance under the dome of the Bandstand. Masterly!

Parking at $7 on show nights
From 6:00 P.M. on weekdays and from 5:00 P.M. on weekends (pass the Museum, follow indications from the clerk at the green tent).
