Le Concorde Future Remains a Mystery

Le Concorde Future Remains a Mystery

A new sales manager , Marie- Andrée Boivin, was hired by the Loews Le Concorde on November 18, two days before the announcement of the firing of 230 employees and the closing down of the Concorde  in February.

The new director joined the team, after more than fifteen years spent as Director of Sales at Chateau Mont -Sainte- Anne, despite the mystery that hangs over the future of the hotel.

The business campaign 2014 with Tourism Quebec has been signed for next year and is set to go ahead.

Nevertheless, mum’s the word from the hotel management about the next chapter of the institution.

The media coverage of the closure of the hotel was big news for the city, which hasn’t helped matters.

On the hotel’s website, it is still possible to make reservations for days later then the announced closing dates.
