l’École d’été du cinema slated for 2014

Matane College and the Quebec Cinema Academy will collaborate to create l’École d’été du cinema. Dedicated to teens from 12 to 17-years old, it will be open from July 14th– 19th in special locations at Matane College.

It will offer the possibility to experience a unique learning experience in the acting and filming domains by creating a short film. Through practical workshops, Academy teachers will ensure the pupils are part of an incredible experience.

According to the manager of the Cinema Academy, Max Bourdeault, the creation of a cinema summer school at the Matane College site concretely answers the objective to make cinema accessible for everyone including the youth in Eastern Quebec.

Starting in summer 2014, the cinema summer school will offer a 3D animation program for people from 12 to 17-years old.

The offer is exclusive to this college. Adolescents (and their parents) from around the province interested in 3D animation will have the occasion to discover one of the most beautiful regions of Quebec.
