Long Winter Walks in Lévis Over 13.5km Trail

Taking long walks in winter is now possible from one end to another of the Anses de Lévis trail.

Indeed, several sections that weren’t usually maintained in the winter are now accessible. Offered since 2005, the accessibility of the cycling trail in the cold season is also very popular and makes the City of Lévis want to continue its maintenance all year round.

The local population and tourists can now walk safely over a 13.5 km distance. The trail begins at Aline-Welsh-Murphy Park, near Genest Street in the Saint-Romuald sector, and continues up to Saint-Joseph Street.

To take winter walks in the evening, a 6 km long section is lit. It is the section between l’Anse Tibbits Park and Moulin Park.

New equipment acquired last year by the city, allows for the annual maintenance of the trail.

Great news for fitness enthusiasts and recreational walkers alike.
