Maple Perfume Hits the Shops

Maple Perfume Hits the Shops

A fascinating meeting for a unique fragrance.

Galimard-PerfumeThe maple perfume Attire-moi was created during a meeting between Mrs. Chantal Roux, manager of Galimard-Source Parfum/ from Grasse, France, international perfume capital, and Mr. Pierre Faucher, manager of the Sucrerie de la Montagne a Rigaud and of the Cabane à Pierre in Frampton (Beauce).

The sun from the Côte d’Azur matched the warm frangrances of maple wood and together, made this new perfume. The famous Galimard French perfumery will open its doors to Quebecois Pierre Faucher to let him know the production secret in this family business.

It is important to mention that for every bottle sold, $1 will be given to the Nouvelle-Beauce Medical Centre to support its activities.

The Galimard perfumery, great-perfumery Corporation and founded in 1747, is one of the first great perfumeries in France. Jean de Galimard supplied King Louis XV’s court, with ointments and perfumes which he invented the first recipes. Jean-Pierre Roux, now at the head of Galimard continues to use the traditional methods and his passion for fine perfumes. He is the first in the perfume industry to open a fragrance studio, a unique concept which allows everyone to create their own perfume.

In Quebec, the Cabane à Pierre and the Sucrerie de la Montagne continue their manager’s mission; to value a century old heritage: the creation of maple products. The Quebecer Pierre Faucher sends a request to all to come breath the wood, the fire, the sugar, and the soul of the Canadian forest.

Two family-owned enterprises, far from the ocean, which share the same values: respect for traditions and the desire to perpetuate the fabrication of an ancestral product.

The product is on sale on this website: or on the spot at the Cabane à Pierre and the Sucrerie de la Montagne. or
