Mois Multi 14th Edition at Palais Montcalm and Across Quebec City

The Mois Multi’s 14th edition revolves around space. This international multidisciplinary and electronic arts festival in Quebec will welcome, for 29 days, more than 100 artists coming from all over the world.

Cellphone_SmartphoneSound maps, numerical performances, immersive cinema, participative concerts, technological concerts, and more. These are only a few things that will be  in this next edition’s program which takes place from January 31 to February 28 at the Cooperative Meduse but also in a dozen rooms and galleries in the region.

The program reflects urban art and practices. The artists seem to be preoccupied with space in many of their actual artistic practices, technological transformations, and renewed spectator reports.

Usually banned from artistic presentations, cellphones will take part in a family concert on February 9 at the Palais Montcalm during the “Telephone bien tempéré” presentation. The ringtones will integrate with the written music.

For the second year, the Quebec symphonic orchestra(OSQ) will be in the game. For the first time ever, the Mois Multi wil greet a team from Brazil with the Tunnel installation, which challenges physic laws.
