Montmorency Fête a Success

Montmorency Fête a Success

Despite the uncertain weather, the Samedi de faire la fête à Montmorency was a success, with its program filled with various activities and attaining everyone’s’ expectations.

According to the head of the Social Cultural, leisure, and community life Division Development in Beauport, André Hébert, this fifth edition brought together more than 800 people who benefitted from a great and festive atmosphere to discover what the local community had to offer by walking around the different booths staffed by 12 local organizations.

The day was enhanced with a circus show, a hip-hop dance presentation, a cheerleading and zumba demonstration, inflatable games, a rock climbing wall, a mini-farm, and the Put Put animation trailer.

The event had the collaboration of the police and fire departments from Quebec City.

The day’s shows would not have been as exciting without the Tignasse le roi lion presentation, which brought together children and parents with its lively music.

Dynamic Partners

Organized by the Comité Beauport Ville en santé, this annual festival is the result of a collaboration of engaged community organizations such as le Pivot, Azimut santé, le comité milieu de vie de l’ATI Montmorency, la Marée des mots, Re-Fa-Vie, les Chevaliers de Colomb Montmorency, la Maison des jeunes-secteur Montmorency, and le Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Montmorency.
