Paul McCartney to Return to Quebec City

Paul McCartney will come back to Quebec five years after celebrating the city’s 400th anniversary. The kind Beatles will be on the Plains of Abraham Tuesday July 23rd, for his new tour entitled Out There!

Until Thursday, this information was not confirmed but the Festival d’été de Quebec (FEQ), through its subsidiary 3E, worked nonstop to bring back Sir Paul on the Plains. The deal is sealed. The British musician will be in town for a show, the only one he will offer in the province this summer.

At the Festival, the spokesperson Luci Tremblay refused to comment on this event but an announcement should be made soon as well as a presale giving priority to people wh already bought their FEQ passes.

The Out There! Tour is the perfect occasion for McCartney to go around the globe with a new production where he promises three hours of music. This show is a trip through his rich collection, including songs from the Beatles, others from his former group Wings, and solos.

At 70 years old, the British singer will be accompanied with the same team as 2008, Paul “Wix” Wickens, Bryan Ray, Rusty Anderson, and Abe Laboriel Jr.
