Place d’Youville Open for Skating

Place d’Youville Open for Skating

Quebec’s traditional, long cold winter might not yet be here, but citizens of Quebec City, and outdoor sports fans can already skate outside.

Indeed, the ice rink in Place d’Youville has already opened for the winter season.

Every year, residents impatiently wait for the rink to open, and on Saturday October 10th, it was no different.

Many people were waiting by the entrance, ready to put on their skates.

The rink’s cooling system ensures that it can open earlier than any other and that patrons can glide on a nice, smooth ice.

The ice rink is free and opens every day from 10 am to 10 pm until March 15, 2013.
