PODCAST: Foo Fighters Quebec City Show cut short – Reaction

In July, if you’re a music-lover, then Quebec City is the place to be.

The Festival d’Été de Québec or the Quebec Summer festival is massive. It’s one of THE music festivals of the year, recognised worldwide and with an enviable reputation.

It’s built up over the years and today boasts 300 shows on 11 stages over 10 days.

The big names always come here – Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Lionel Ritchie, Black Eyed Peas,
Billy Joel, Journey, Bryan Adams, the list goes on.

This year, the 2015 edition, is no exception with Keith Urban, Skrillex, and the Rolling Stones having performed or booked to perform.

And last night, Saturday 11 July on the Plains of Abraham we had the Foo Fighters.

A band with a world-wide legion of fans – some of whom had make the trek to Quebec City to see them.

Enormous crowd on the Plains of Abraham and one of our team, Farnell Morisset was in it.

The show was cancelled after 4 songs. Mother nature always wins.

Here he talks us through what happened.

You can read the original article surrounding the show here – Foo Fighters Defiant Against Quebec Weather.
