PODCAST: Quebec ranty man on mowing the lawn

Job_Patstone_HeadshotLet us introduce you to Job Patstone.

He’s a quiet, unassuming man, a family man, a man of principle, and someone who from time to time gets a bee in his bonnet about something or other.

He likes to have a rant about all manner of things that really get his goat. Usually he rants to himself, or to anyone who might be within earshot at the time.

Like everyone else during the summer Job has to cut his grass. He does this without fuss in his quiet, respectful, residential neighbourhood in a suburb of Quebec City.

He nods to the neighbours while doing so, and then goes back inside his house. Quietly simmering.

Here Job shares his thoughts on mowing the lawn on those gloriously hot summer days.

By the way, please pronounce his name Jobe as in lobe – ear lobe – and not Job as in well, job – that thing you do for money. He gets annoyed about that.
