Police investigating 3 shootings in same district

MONTREAL — Police in Montreal are investigating three shootings in the past two days in the city’s Rosemont district.

On Tuesday at about 2 p.m., officers responding to 911 calls found an 18-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to the lower body.

About an hour later and several blocks away, a 22-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Both men are expected to survive.

These shootings follow another on Monday in the same district when another 22-year-old man was shot and wounded.

No arrests have been made and police cannot say if the three incidents are related. All three men are known to police.
