Priscilla Presley in Quebec City Visit

Quebec City (Québec) The real Mrs Presley in crowd at Elvis impersonator’s show.

It all happened in Quebec City at Le Capitole de Québec Sunday night during Québec’s famous ‘Elvis‘ impersonator Martin Fontaine’s show.

Martin’s first show of the summer season was graced with the presence of the real Elvis Presely’s widow Priscilla, who was discretely sitting in the audience, much to the delight of most of the spectators who recognized her. She had been invited by the concert hall’s director Jean Pilote months ago and it is apparently the first time that the CEO of Elvis Presely Enterprises, has taken the time to actually watch a show by one of the many Elvis impersonators throughout North America.

After a couple of songs at the beginning of the show, ‘Elvis‘ stopped and spoke to the crowd saying, ¨Here tonight is a person very dear to me who doesn’t often come to my shows in Vegas, Ladies and Gentlemen please say hello to Priscilla¨. The crowd went into a roar of applaud while Priscilla herself stood up and blew a kiss to the impersonator, a unique and special moment for the whole audience.

Her visit was kept low key and she was well protected by her entourage of employees, even during her meal at the Il Teatro, the on-lookers were kept at bay by the hotel security personnel. She arrived from the airport in time for supper, saw the show and will be leaving Monday as discretely as she arrived.

Elvis Presley’s wife has left the building.

Did you know?

Priscilla’s family originally had ties with the Québec region as her mother remarried Québec man Paul Beaulieu, after her first husband was killed in a plane crash. Mr Beaulieu was in the United States Air Force stationed in Germany where Priscilla’s mother was living at the time.
