QAC Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Dates Relased

The Quebec Art Company, Quebec City’s English Community Theatre for 31 years, is rehearsing for its fall production of the  American classic play, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!

This powerful, highly charged Pulitzer Prize winning drama was playwright Tennessee Williams’ personal favourite and for good reason!

The play takes place on one of the largest cotton plantations on the Mississippi Delta in the 1950s with subject matter quite shocking for its time.

It’s a sultry summer night with a family haunted by the crushing end of its stability!  The heat of this play blisters with tempers raging over family conflicts, falsehoods, and greed. And lets not forget the Cat herself. This tigress doesn’t have claws, she has daggers!

The Quebec Art Company welcomes all, however, discretion is advised due to language and subject matter.

Performances will take place November 29-Dec 1 at 8:00 p.m. and a matinee performance on Sunday December 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Holland School located at 940, ave Ernest-Gagnon in Quebec City, G1S 3R2.
