Desjardins awards a $27,500 scholarship to a young entrepreneur of the École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce
To promote female leadership and entrepreneurship, Desjardins Group has awarded the first of three scholarships created especially for business women. These $27,500 scholarships cover half of the costs for the two-year program at the École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce, the only private school for entrepreneurs in Canada.

Students act out historic battle
A bit of school-sanctioned violence broke out Monday afternoon at Armour Heights Public School when pupils in the school’s two Grade 7 classes reenacted the 1759 Battle of the Plains of Abraham for the rest of the school.
For two weeks, the students made costumes and muskets, and practised marching.
