Quebec Art Company Witness for the Prosecution Auditions

QAC Auditions for “The Witness For The Prosecution”, September 7th. 1:30 p.m.

Quebec Art Company’s next production – “Witness for the Prosecution”, will be a suspense drama written by Agatha Christie. The troupe is gearing up for auditions to be held Sunday, September 7, at 1:30 pm at Holland School, 940 Avenue Ernest-Gagnon, in Quebec City!

This well-known play revolves around the trial of a young man accused of murdering a wealthy widow that he had befriended. Set in the Old Bailey of London, this classic courtroom drama is renowned for its surprising finale. Not to worry, no spoiler here!

Nathalie Peron is in the director’s chair, her second time directing an Agatha Christie play. A large cast is needed: 28 in total; She encourages any and all to come out for auditions. Indeed, as many of the roles are nonspeaking or have only a few lines, this play is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in being on stage – first-timers are especially welcome. No need to prepare for the audition. Just familiarize yourself with the play.

As always, the company is looking for people interested in helping off-stage (set, costume, backstage, publicity, makeup, etc.) and encourages them to come to the auditions to learn how they might become involved. For further information, contact Nathalie at 418-873-8495 or the QAC at

For those only interested in seeing the show, the dates for the performances are already set for November 27-30 – mark your calendars!
