Québec Government Invests in Artisans

L’École nationale de lutherie de Québec and l’École de joaillerie de Québec are receiving $206,700 in financial assistance of from the Government of Quebec. This announcement was made in the presence of the Maka Kotto, the Minister of the Culture and Communications; the Minister of labour, employment and social solidarity and Minister responsible for status of women, Agnès Maltais, and the Board of Director Presidents for both schools, Chantal Arbour and Richard Lavoie.

This will enable the two institutions affiliated with Cégep Limoilou  to renew outdated equipment and acquire new cutting edge technology. They will be made available to students, graduates and professionals to promote their learning and their development.

Maka Kotto took advantage of this announcement to visit the premises of the École de joaillerie de Québec to discover the know-how of its craftsmen.
