Quebec Hopes for Medals at 2013 Police and Fire Games

Twenty-two ambassadors from Quebec City will participate in the 2013 World Police and Fire Games which are to be in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

World_Police_Fire_Games_2013The competition starts on Thursday and lasts ten days. There are a total of 56 disciplines. About 10,000 athletes will attend and take part in the games.

According to the spokesman for the Quebec group, police officer Roger Ferland, athletes from the region have great chances of winning a medal.

The City supports this adventure for the 22 participants by offering $800 of financing for each individual.

Those athletes are part of the sports association Les As de Québec.
