The Quebec Election – vote for the one you dislike the least.

Dear Quebec Electorate,

Absolutely loads going on this Labour Day weekend.
We’re giddy with excitement as the queen of pop is in town.
Madge is strutting her stuff on the Plains on Sept 1st.
Got your tickets? We know where there’s some going spare if not.
The Quebec Provincial Election – you really can have too much choice when it comes to just who is going to blow  spend our hard-earned tax dollars for the next few years, can’t you?
J’ai ma pelle is also on this weekend. It’s all go.

As for features, our very own Isabelle Green (along with a bunch of other nutters), braved the stifling heat to run in the marathon des deux rives, we also sent Job Patstone to witness the changing of the guard and then on to Charny to play with some trains.

Elsehwere on, there’s a few new jobs to peruse, some items for sale in the classifieds section, and some forum posts worth looking at (apparently 1 in 4 Canadians are ready to kick Quebec out of the Confederation). Gulp.

As ever, whatever you’re up to, wishing you a great weekend and we’ll see you next time.
