Québec Ski Resort Association Offers Expérience maneige

A mini ski resort for kids and their parents. After the success from the past two years, the ski initiation program brought to us by the Quebec Ski Resort Association (ASSQ), Expérience maneige, is back until February 24 at the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency.

For a third consecutive year, this miniature ski station allows young kids from 5 to 8-years old to start skiing for free with an animation team to watch over the proceedings.

More than 1,500 students from many elementary schools in the Quebec region signed up to have the place reserved for their groups during the week. Low cost complementary activities are also offered, such as snowshoe racing, story telling time, and much more.

Offered freely to the public from 10h to 16h every weekend of the month, the Expérience maneige program is part of the choice of activities for young families who want to move and be outside. The ski equipment, boots, helmets, and skis lent as well as all sliding equipment. Kids can keep warm in the maneige cottage at all times.

The Expérience maneige is one of the scholar programs offered by the ASSQ to develop kids’ interest for in skiing; more than 15,000 kids per year in fact.

Hundreds of parents were astonished by their talent and teachers as well.
