Quebec Writer on Reader’s Digest Cover

Quebec Writer on Reader’s Digest Cover

Quebec City just earned a new credit: the cover of the popular Reader’s Digest magazine.

This credit is acquired by Pierrette R. Pelletier, great Para-Canadian winner of the first writing competition Ma Ville, ma fierté.

In short very visual text, Mrs. Pelletier covers Quebec with flowers by naming its characteristics throughout the four seasons.

Humble and entertaining, Pierrette Pelletier joked around with the mayor, Régis Labeaume, during a press conference which took place at the City Hall. She lived in the Maritimes and in Ontario but she always came back to Quebec.

Mrs. Pelletier earns a $5,000 bursary. Quebec City earns the same amount which will be given to Le Piolet organization, which helps youngsters.

Quebec City will therefore appear on the cover of the francophone version of the Selection magazine, with a print run of 150,000 copies.
