Rouge et Or Footballers Win Dunsmore Cup 2010

On November 13th 2010 at the PEPS, in front of 16,635 fans, Laval’s Rouge et Or football team won it’s record eighth straight Dunsmore Cup.

The Dunsmore Cup, presented to the winners of the Quebec University Football League, has been in Laval University’s hands since November 2003.

The Rouge et Or maintained their tight grip on the trophy by defeating Sherbrooke University’s Vert et Or in a cliffhanger of a match. The Quebec City team emerged victorious by a 5 point margin in a 22-17 win. Christopher Milo kicking 3 field goals in the process.

The Rouge et Or will take on The University of Western Ontario Mustangs for the Uteck Bowl here in Quebec City on November 20th 2010.
