Sillery to Celebrate 375th Birthday

Sillery’s 375th anniversary is coming soon under the guidance of the ex-Sillery mayor, Paul Shoiry.

The activities taking place in Sillery (now a suburb of Quebec City, sitting just beside the Saint Lawrence River) will allow locals and visitors to discover the town’s history which stands out for its quality of life, its dynamic community, and its peaceful environment.

The main event is scheduled for Sunday, August 19th.

Celebrations will be held on Maguire Avenue which will be pedestrian-only for the day.

Many activities for the family are offered such as clowns and balloon sculptures, make-up for kids, and a band.

The importance of this part of the town will be shown via exhibitions and deomnstrations.

There will also be a free corn roast for all who want to come.
