Skyfall in Cinemas Across Quebec

Skyfall in Cinemas Across Quebec

Bond is back.

Skyfall came to Quebec cinema screens last Friday. The film could become the most lucrative in the James Bond franchise’s history.

The new James Bond is unanimously appreciated among critics and could surpass $600 million in revenue.

The 23rd edition, featuring Daniel Craig, started playing in cinemas across Quebec last week Wednesday to Thursday on eight IMAX screens in Quebec) and will be shown in 131 other theatres in the province.

This is one of the big fall movies. Skyfall was a movie many people were waiting for and it will for sure be a big weekend.

Critics, who argue that Skyfall is the best James Bond movie will have a positive effect on the room attendance.

Positive Reviews

Effects were felt yesterday, early in the night during the first presentation on IMAX screens in Quebec.

Three IMAX theatres were full. This is very good for a weeknight and in those late hours.

Positive reviews have the effect of bringing a larger number of moviegoers back to the cinema.

James Bond fans must also be taken into consideration for being the longest fans in the history of cinema. The renewal effect caused by the arrival of Daniel Craig as the famous secret-agent was a good decision.

Skyfall carries 13 certificate.

Shown on 131 screens, the new James Bond, directed by Sam Mendes, is comparable to Inception (127) The Adventures of Tintin (129) The Hangover 2 (130) and Fast and Furious 5 (135), which were large successes in Quebec in recent years.

It can’t yet be compared with Twilight Breaking Dawn-Part 1 and the final Harry Potter chapter, which were shown on 180 and 200 screens respectively.

These movies, compared to that of James Bond, target a younger and wider clientele.
