Anne-Laurence Harvey scored three goals in the second half of the recent game against Jonquière.

After an unfortunate 2-1 loss against Cegep Limoilou last Wednesday, the Lady Lions have now added another victory notch to their belt. Saturday, September 15th, the girls took the field with a smidgen of nerves in their stomachs as they faced a team from Jonquière. Frederique Thivierge scored the sole goal before the half was over leaving both teams tied.

At the half, coach Justin Robert gave the girls a few words of wisdom by telling them to play at their full potential once back on the field.

Those words definitely hit home. The girls faced the second half stronger than ever as they continuously put in goal after goal. Audrey Desgagnés, leading scorer of the first game, made the first penalty shot of the season shortly after the half had started. Anne-Laurence Harvey impressed the spectators as she made her three goals look effortless. Also, Audrey-Ann Vachon put in her first goal of the season.

The girls will be in for a tough fight against Garneau this upcoming Wednesday, September 19th at 7:00pm at the PEPS. They will be practicing hard to face the game fully prepared and ready to give it everything they have in order to pull out another win.
