Striker embarks on their Heavy Metal Rampage Tour 2013

Striker, Edmonton heavy metal, tours Canada a third time with their album Armed to the Teeth (2012). Since Striker’s formation in 2008, they continue to make strides towards metal stardom. After their nomination for Best Metal Group of the year in 2011 at the Indie Awards, Striker produced their second studio album, Armed to the Teeth, with multi-platinum producer Michael Wagener. With opening for Metallica and playing their hometown stadium under their belt, their 2013 Heavy Metal Rampage Tour begins on May 18, 2013 and ends June 29, 2013 in Gibbons, AB at Boonstock music festival.

Striker’s line-up features: Dan Cleary (vocals), Chris Segger (lead/rhythm guitar), Dave Arnold (bass), Adam Brown (drums), and new member Tim Brown (lead/rhythm guitar) replacing long time guitarist Ian Sandercock.

Striker is a hard-working and driven band. They operate their own business and continue to make the right steps to establishing themselves in the fierce and competitive metal landscape. They are signed to Austrian label Napalm Records and this tour marks their third trek around Canada before they depart for Europe in the late Fall.
