TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes, June 3rd, 2012

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.frdj.ca  www.jdrf.ca ) is  organizing the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes in the Quebec City region next Sunday, June 3 at 10 am on the campus of University Laval.  The start of the 5K walk will be held at the centre of the campus between the pavilions Charles-De Koninck and-Alexandre-Vachon. Bring your own picnic or buy hot dogs on site and enjoy the activities afterwards. The goal is to raise funds and increase awareness of Type 1 diabetes.

8:30 à 10:00    Registration : Link to register for the Quebec City Walk

Activities and Booths

10:00               Warm-up and Start of Walk

10 -11:30        Walk 5 km along a pre-determined route.  Walk at your rhythm.  

11:30-14:00    Picnic, music, street performers; Circus school presentations

14:00               Closing

 

Parking

Easy access thanks to the RTC bus system.

Parking on the campus is free on this weekend.
