The 1790 Chamber Organ CD Launch

The 1790 Chamber Organ CD Launch

A new CD was launched last night in Carter Hall, Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Quebec, at the 5 à 7 for helpers at the 2010 Quebec City German Christmas Market.

The CD, titled, ‘The 1790 Chamber Organ in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity’ is a collection of music performed by Benjamin Waterhouse and Mary-Kathryn Stevens.
With Benjamin on the magnificent 1790 Chamber Organ and Mary-Kathryn accompanying on the viola.

The musicians play pieces by George Frideric Handel, William Boyce, William Walond, Johann Sebastian Bach, John Keeble and John Stanley.

We spoke to Benjamin at the launch and he stated that the Cathedral took possession of the 1790 Chamber Organ in 2004, Holy Trinity’s bicentennial year, and this CD has been talked about ever since then.

Well now it’s here and it is on sale at the Holy Trinity Cathedral shop.
Priced $20 and this includes taxes.
All proceeds from the sales of the CD go to the church.
