The great theatre festival begins in Quebec

Tuesday the 21st is the opening of the 14th Carrefour international de théâtre. From May 21 to June 8, the festival will present 10 performance exceptional performances in theaters including the new ambulatory spectacle “Where you go when you sleep walking …”, live performing arts and a series of activities and meetings.

Icaro Opening

Icaro, by Daniele Finzi Pasca, will open the festival. Performed more than seven hundred times in six different languages ​​and in over twenty countries since its inception, this memorable show, presented in 1996 at Carrefour is back, still supported by the fabulous creator, a clown with the grace of a trapeze artist. Take the opportunity to discover or revisit this show full of tenderness, humor and humanity, five nights, from May 21 to 25 at the Grand Théâtre de Québec.

Where you go when you sleep walking

The new ambulatory spectacle takes place on the 23rd, 24th and May 25th from 9 to 11 pm continuously at Place de l’Université-du-Québec (rue De Saint-Vallier Est, Carré Lépine et rue de Xi’an) . New places, new artists, and the same happiness! Le Carrefour international de théâtre proposes a new ambulatory performance once again in the heart of St-Roch. To see the city put on stage, to walk into a show to see a comedian eye to eye, where you go when you sleep walking … imposes itself as an annual rendezvous and free event.
