Quebec, February 28, 2013 – For the second year the National Battlefields Commission is taking part in the défilé de la Saint-Patrick de Québec, Saturday March 23 at 1:30 p.m., in the streets of Quebec City.

For this 4th edition you will meet, among others, protagonists from the period that witnessed what would become the most notable of Quebec’s legends.

Today, 250 years after her hanging, Marie-Josephte Corriveau, known as La Corriveau, is still present in our collective psyche.

To commemorate the history and the legend, the Commission invites you to relive La Corriveau‘s last moments by revisiting the trial from the site of the Musée des Ursulines de Québec, the long march towards her execution site on the Plains of Abraham, and her final entrance into the collective psyche of an entire nation.

Come and join us for this hosted commemorative activity:
Thursday April 18, 7:30 p.m.
