The seventh presentation of Quebec City’s Celtic Festival will be held from August 30th to September 16th on the Scottish Causeway site, at the Morrin Centre, as well as in various Quebec establishments (pubs and bistros).

NEW! DRAWING CONCERT: SAMUEL O’DOW’S VOYAGE

The festival kicks off Thursday, August 30th with a new activity Concert Dessiné. Imagine cartoonists creating a comic strip right in front of you, all to the sound of Celtic music performed by talented musicians! Finally, all of them are inspired by the fantastic journey of Samuel O’Dow, an Irishman forced to leave his country in 1845. A unique evening not to be missed! Tickets are available via the website.

WHISKY AND BEER TASTING, 7.30 p.m.

It is more and more popular, the tastings are fun events that allow everyone to familiarize with Celtic drinks. For beginners or experienced amateurs, these exclusive night outs are led by experts. This year, one of the three evenings will be devoted to beer. Indeed, la Boîte à bière suggests Quebec microbrewery beers with Celtic flavours. An event not to be missed! A collaboration with Quebec Whisky and la Boîte à bière.  At the Morrin Center. 18-years and over ($30/per person for Whisky and $20/person for beer).
